Welcome to Motley’s Bookkeeping & Tax Service!
I’m Niresha Motley, founder of Motley’s Bookkeeping & Tax Service LLC. I built this business with a simple mission: to help individuals, families, and business owners gain financial clarity, stay organized, and approach tax season with confidence.
My professional journey began with a passion for helping people understand their finances. In 2020, I started volunteering with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, where I spent two years helping individuals and families navigate the tax preparation process. That experience opened the door to a career in taxation and an opportunity to work with Intuit as a Tax Expert and Tax Advisor.
I hold an Associate of Science degree in Accounting from San Diego City College and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston–Downtown. I’m also an IRS Electronic Return Originator (ERO), a California Tax Education Council (CTEC) Registered Tax Preparer, IRS Circular 230 Annual Participant and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Through my experience, I’ve learned that financial services should go beyond simply preparing a tax return. Business owners need accurate financial records, reliable guidance, and someone who can help them understand where their money is going.

One thing I’ve seen repeatedly while working with business owners is how easily bookkeeping can fall behind.

The goal is to help qualifying business owners address overdue bookkeeping and business tax preparation together. Depending on the scope of work, the package can include transaction review and categorization, account reconciliations, financial statements, and preparation of a qualifying business tax return.
Rather than approaching tax season with uncertainty, I want my clients to feel informed, prepared, and confident in their financial records.
